I had a coworker at the restaurant that I used to work at who went into the HVAC field not too long ago.
- He was sick of waiting tables and wanted to do something he would be able to turn into a career.
While we were still working together, he was taking HVAC classes at a local HVAC tech training school. I didn’t think that he would be able to do both at the same time, but it turns out that the hours for the HVAC school were very flexible and he was able to work around his job at the restaurant while getting HVAC certified. I was thrilled when he finally graduated from the program and was abe to return to the HVAC field. He was a very hard worker and I knew that he would do great as an HVAC technician. On his last day of work, we all went out to celebrate. As soon as I returned to my apartment, I realized that there was something wrong with the AC in my house! I found it humorous that he was celebrating his first day as a certified HVAC technician when the AC in my house went out. I called him over for his first job. He was able to diagnose the problem and my AC was back on and running in no time. It pays to have an HVAC technician for a friend!
