I had a coworker at the restaurant that I used to work at who went into the HVAC field not too long ago; He was sick of waiting tables & wanted to do something he would be able to turn into a career.
- While we were still working together, he was taking HVAC classes at a local HVAC tech training university.
I didn’t know that he would be able to do both at the same time, but it turns out that the hours for the HVAC university were entirely stretchy & he was able to work around his job at the restaurant while getting HVAC certified. I was gleeful when he finally graduated from the program & was abe to return to the HVAC field. He was a entirely difficult worker & I knew that he would do great as an HVAC professional. On his last day of work, we all went out to celebrate. As soon as I returned to my apartment, I realized that there was something wrong with the AC in my house! I found it humorous that he was celebrating his first day as a certified HVAC professional when the AC in my loft went out. I called him over for his first job. He was able to diagnose the concern & my AC was back on & running in no time. It pays to have an HVAC professional for a friend!
