Labor Day weekend each year is always a fun family filled weekend.
Is the one time of year that we all celebration & go on our annual camping trip before the adolescents head back to school.
My number one part of the entire weekend it’s the mornings spent around the campfire sharing stories & making s’mores. This year however the campfire turned out to be our only saving grace, because the temperature is dropped so low that we were all cold; As with any outdoor adventure, you need to be prepared for just about any type of weather, however since it was the start of September we never planned on waking up to 40 degrees. I remember going to bed the night before & thinking it was a little cold however when I woke in the morning & could see my breath I could hardly suppose it, and our whole family are tent campers & so none of us have a alternate heat source other than the fire at night the battle of the chilly uneven temperatures. I suppose is that moment I would have given anything to have a portable Heating & Air Conditioning device with us so that I could just adjust the temperature & get moderate again. I got up & dressed & as multiple layers of clothing as I possibly could & headed down to the camp store to get a cup of coffee. There were multiple other campers that have the same idea as I did & we all decided to hang out there until the sun was fully up. I do cherish our family camping trips however maybe next year we should look into renting a holiday home instead, at least after that I would have some sort of weather conditions control available.
